The Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA) today called on the Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) to defend American biopharmaceutical innovators and jobs by ending intellectual property and market access barriers in 20 trading partner economies around the world. Consistent with President Trump’s objective to eliminate unfair trade practices abroad and ensure that U.S. trade agreements benefit the United States, PhRMA urges USTR to defend, enforce and strengthen intellectual property protections and market access for U.S. innovations abroad.
