On April 10, PhRMA attended Bamberg Health’s U.S. Northeast Healthcare Innovation Summit, where PhRMA’s Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Michael Ybarra, participated in the panel titled “Unlocking Access to Therapies & Medicines.” Dr. Ybarra emphasized the importance of federal policies promoting biopharmaceutical R&D and expanding access to medicines. During the session, Dr. Ybarra proposed solutions to address current federal policies that limit patient access, advocating for laws that safeguard innovation and improve patient access to medicines.
