At Aspen Ideas Health 2022, Dr. Anne Pritchett participated on the panel After COVID-19: Preventing the Next Pandemic with Dr. Victor Dzau, Dr. Neil Vora, and moderator John Torres of NBC News. On the panel, Dr. Pritchett discussed how collaboration in the biopharmaceutical industry played a critical role in mitigating the COVID-19 pandemic and what the industry learned to effectively address future pandemics and public health challenges.
The panel also discussed growing threats to public health such as disinformation, distrust, and the rise of anti-microbial resistance, and also emphasized the crucial roles of transparency and consistency in the effort to rebuild trust in medicine globally.
