Amy Miller
Amy M. Miller, PhD, is President of the PhRMA Foundation, an independent nonprofit that fosters biopharmaceutical innovation by investing in foundational research advancing drug discovery, drug delivery, translational medicine, and value-driven health care. Dr. Miller is a seasoned nonprofit leader with a distinguished career in advancing biomedical research and health care policy. Before joining the PhRMA Foundation, she served as President and CEO of the Society for Women’s Health Research (SWHR), where she championed women's health issues through science, policy and education. Prior to that, she was Executive Vice President of the Personalized Medicine Coalition (PMC), a 200+ member advocacy coalition dedicated to advancing personalized medicine across the health care ecosystem. Before entering nonprofit management, Dr. Miller worked in government, both within the National Institutes of Health and the U.S. Senate. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of New Orleans and a doctoral degree from the University of Connecticut.
