Medicare Monday: Celebrating Medicare

Welcome back to Medicare Monday and happy July! This is a big month for Medicare so we hope you’ll check back with us regularly as we celebrate some big occasions.

Next Monday, July 13^th, is the White House Conference on Aging. The Conference on Aging has taken place once every decade since the 1960s. Healthy aging will be an important topic at the conference, so we’ll definitely be watching.

And later this month, Medicare will celebrate its 50^th birthday! Over the coming weeks we’ll be talking a lot about how Medicare benefits older Americans, particularly the availability of prescription drug coverage through Medicare Part D.
