PhRMA represents the nation’s leading biopharmaceutical research companies. Our success in developing and delivering medicines to help patients live longer and healthier lives depends on ethical relationships and behavior.
PhRMA’s Code on Interactions with Healthcare Professionals and PhRMA’s Direct to Consumer Advertising Principles each provide that PhRMA will identify, on a public website, companies who certify that they have policies and procedures in place to foster compliance with the PhRMA Code and the DTC Principles. These lists can be found below.
If your company would like to complete a certification to either the PhRMA Code or DTC Principles, please download the relevant certification form below. Completed forms may be emailed to cocertifications@phrma.org or submitted to PhRMA by clicking the “Submit” button below.
The PhRMA Code provides that companies who publicly announce their commitment to abide by the Code and who complete an annual certification that they have policies and procedures in place to foster compliance with the Code will be identified by PhRMA on a public website. In addition, companies are encouraged to seek external verification periodically, meaning at least once every three years, that the company has policies and procedures in place to foster compliance with the Code. The Code provides that PhRMA will identify on its website if a company has sought and obtained such external verification. These lists, in addition to the relevant forms for submitting certifications and external verifications, can be found below.
PhRMA’s Guiding Principles on DTC Advertisements provide that companies who publicly announce their commitment to abide by the Principles and who complete an annual certification that they have policies and procedures in place to foster compliance with the Principles will be identified by PhRMA on a public website. This list and the form for submitting certifications can be found below.
