Putting patients first at the state level — A conversation with Mark Reisenauer, President of Astellas Pharma US
We believe there is a better way to help patients pay less for their medicines without sacrificing access, innovation and jobs.

Our industry continues working to improve patient access and affordability for medicines at the state level. I recently had the opportunity to connect with PhRMA board member Mark Reisenauer, President of Astellas Pharma US.
During our conversation, we discussed common-sense reforms that can help insurance work like it was intended so that patients can access and afford the medicines their doctors prescribe. These types of solutions at the state level put patients first across the United States. We also addressed the negative consequences of some state policy proposals that jeopardize patient access, research and development, and the high-quality jobs supported by our industry. You can watch the conversation below.
