In our last whiteboard video, we emphasized the importance of being smart consumers when shopping for health insurance plans. By asking the right questions and comparing different plans you are more likely to choose the best option for you and your family. But what if the information you need to make the most informed decision is not available?
As improvements to the health insurance marketplaces, or exchanges, continue, a lack of tools to help determine how to choose a plan may leave you with more questions than answers. Unfortunately, this lack of transparency regarding the costs associated with getting care can make it difficult to budget and plan for health care costs. In our new whiteboard video, we explain more about exchange plan transparency and what you can do until more information like this is available.
